Douglas Benhura

Douglas was born in 1958 in Murewa, Zimbabwe. He began sculpting in 1996 alongside his brother, who is internationally acclaimed Dominic Benhura. Dominic has instilled in Douglas the soft yet sleek proportions in his works—which are very much symbols of their sense of family life and community spirit.
