The tall, solid backrest of this Antique Railroad "Chair" curves gently to support your back. Below it, a square seat rests on straight legs joined by stretchers, giving the chair clean, sculptural lines.
It is hand carved from Red Jarrah in a deep, dark brown with a smooth finish. The wood is dense and heavy, giving the solid, luxurious feel of a piece built from nothing but solid wood.
Set a pair at the ends of a dining table, or use one at a desk. At 42" tall, its height gives the room a strong presence.
