"Dogon Door" tells its story along the bottom edge, where a village scene unfolds in carved relief. Panels like this one, made by the Dogon tribe of Mali, mix abstract and figurative designs, and their motifs carry symbolism that evokes a myth or a parable.
The door is lightweight and installs easily on any wall in a home or office. It was carved entirely by hand from natural materials, free of fillers, dyes, stains, and varnishes, and it is the only one of its kind.
