York's Shona Gallery presents the Antique Railroad "Corner Bookcase," designed for the corner of a room where space often goes empty. Three deep open shelves rise above a cabinet with two more shelves inside. The knobs are charmingly made out of the same wood, allowing for a consistent look which highlights the beauty of this endangered wood. Additionally, this piece is made of two pieces, the top half of three bookshelves, and the bottom half with the cabinets. These two can be used as separates if you wish. The side of the bookshelf exposes the incredible, organic texture of the wood.
It stands 82" tall in Red Jarrah, with a warm tone and rich natural grain. The wood is dense and heavy, giving the solid, luxurious feel of a piece built from nothing but solid wood.
